Ghostwind Miniatures is family owned and operated by Dave and Burdetta Walters, and their daughters Sherry Holt and Angela Finn, along with numerous grandchildren. The horses raised here are a result of hand selection and breeding. Our brood mares are retired show horses and many of them have obtained Hall of Fame status. Our National Champions and National Top Ten Winners include Ghostwinds Night Commander, Buck On's Brazos, Buck Ons Simply Sinful, Buck Ons Maxs Back in  Black, Shah Jehans Out of the Blue, Hilltops Morning Glory, Paintbrush Sante Fe Cowboy, Ghostwinds Holy Heartbreak, Buck Ons Xzotica and Ghostwinds Painted Night.

Our goal is to produce a horse in miniature proportion that is refined, balanced and elegant with a look at me attitude. Our blood lines include Buckeroo, Dippers Duffy, NFC Remarkable Rowdy, Vermilyea Farms Olympus, Bond, Gold Melody Boy, Dels Cowboy and many others.

Besides our miniature horses, we also raise Bouvier des Flandres and Doberman Pinscher dogs, and occasionally have puppies available.
